Method of application?
Vaginal cream: Apply the medicine to the labia and other affected areas in the genital area.
Vaginal tablets: Insert the medicine into the vagina.
Duration of use?
The duration of use should be 1 day. A follow-up examination by a doctor should determine whether treatment should be continued. Overdose? There are no known symptoms of overdose. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
In general, it is important to ensure that the dosage is correct, especially for infants, small children, and elderly people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.
The dosage prescribed by your doctor may differ from the information given in the package insert. Since your doctor will adjust the dosage individually, you should use the medicine according to his or her instructions. Dosage Vaginal cream:

If symptoms (discharge, itching, etc.) occur for the first time and if they recur more than three times a year, you should consult a doctor.
During and for two days after treatment, only latex-free condoms should be used during sexual intercourse.
Treatment should not be carried out during menstruation.

Mode of action
How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?
The active ingredient damages the outer shell, known as the cell membrane, of fungi. This shell thus loses some of its functions; for example, it becomes less permeable to nutrients, causing the cell to starve, or cell components escape and the cell dissolves. Depending on the concentration of the active ingredient, the fungi are inhibited in their growth and reproduction or killed directly. The active ingredient is also effective against certain bacteria.

What should you watch out for?
- Caution if you are allergic to antifungal agents (e.g., clotrimazole)!
- Caution if you are allergic to propylene glycol!
- Emulsifiers (e.g., cetyl/stearyl alcohol) may cause skin irritation (e.g., contact dermatitis).
- There may be medications that interact with this medication. Therefore, before starting treatment with a new medication, you should generally tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other medications you are already taking. This also applies to medications that you buy yourself, use only occasionally, or have used in the past.
