Mode of action
How does the ingredient in the medicine work?
Zinc oxide acts on the skin against pathogens and inflammation and promotes wound healing. It also binds moisture to the skin (e.g., in wet, moist areas of skin in body folds), which reduces further softening and thus the possible penetration of pathogens.
